Juan lost his leg below his knee due to complications of diabetes. Juan is a veteran who has most of his medical needs taken care of by the VA. However, the VA is unable to provide amputee servicemen/women with hand controls for their car so they came to us to ask if we could help Juan. Arrangements were made and Juan is now able to drive to work and feel like he is once again contributing to his family again.
