Minelli is 26 years of age from the Dominican Republic who now lives in Brandon, Fl.   She is married with three children ranging in age from 2 months to 7 years.   Minelli lost her leg in a freak electrical accident when she was just three years old.  Her last new prosthetic leg was provided when she was 18 and still living in the Dominican Republic.  She moved to the United States where she was determined to make a better life for her and her daughter. In the last 8 years she has worked full time, married and had 2 more children….all on a prosthetic that did not fit and was causing constant pain.  Through the generosity of Tampa Bay Prosthetics and the Krewe, today Minelli has a new leg that fits.
